Mentoring Relationships

Use the Mentor Relationships screen to make connections with possible mentors who can help you develop competencies and skills.

Track messages between you and your mentor and goals and activities that the two of you plan.

A mentee or mentor can have more than one mentoring relationship at a time.

These are the steps to establish a mentor relationship:

  1. An employee searches for and selects a mentor.
    Note: To be accessible in a search an employee must first nominate themselves as a mentor. See Nominate Yourself as a Mentor for details.
     
  2. The employee’s manager approves the selection. 
  3. The mentor’s manager approves the selection.
  4. The mentor approves the relationship.
